Sport has an important part to play in the physical and social development of all young people. We believe that sport is not just for the most able. Each child is encouraged to perform to the best of their abilities.

The indoor facilities, extensive grounds and playing fields, provide wonderful opportunities for the children to enjoy a large number of sports and activities. The gym with a sprung floor, ideal for gymnastics and a host of games, across the manicured lawns and paths is a twenty-five metre indoor pool. In the grounds there are two hard tennis courts, cricket nets, croquet lawns and the school is currently constructing a 9 hole golf course. All the sports are coached by fully qualified members of staff and the children are encouraged to be involved in as many activities as possible.

Regular fixtures against other schools and inter house sports ensure that the standard of sports teaching remains impressively high.

All major summer and winter sports are catered for, though rugby, football, net-ball, hockey, cricket and rounders occupy most of the games sessions.
