The Bishton Association
The Bishton Association, founded by old pupils and parents with the aim of enhancing the school's facilities for the benefit of the pupils, organises many social events throughout the year.
These events include the biannual summer ball, a popular evening for parents & friends of the school, a hog roast on alternate years, the annual Christmas bazaar, as well as quiz nights and other events.
The Association is not a policy-forming body, nor does it deal with academic matters, but matters raised at the Association’s meetings may, if the Association wishes, be put forward for further discussion by the Headmasters.
The Committee of the Association is made up of teachers & parents of children in the School, taken from a cross-section of the year groups throughout the School
Membership of the Association is open to Parents, past and present, of pupils of the School, members of the School Staff, and to past pupils of the School
The Committee usually meets once a term, with the A.G.M. of the Association towards the end of the Summer Term.
